Who?

Hot Watches has been born out the needs and wants of the consumer and the changing face of retail, we have seen the trends for purchasing watches and jewellery move from its traditional roots in the high street to the mass market of the internet. We have seen site which are boring and tedious and difficult to move through and we believed we could make something easy to move though and stylish with it something that you will enjoy to buy from.

As a high street retailer jewellery retailer in the North East for 27 years we have amass a large degree of knowledge in branded watches and jewellery and believe that we can use this to you consumers best interest to bring styles of the top branded watches that the other internet retailer do not give you with this in mind we created our Mission statement.

Where?

Hot Watches is a new company born from its roots in the North East from it s parent company Frisson Jewellers. We at Frisson Jewellers have built up a reputation and brand loyalty from our consumer, for our products, price and service that we give.

We began in 1979 a store built out of the designs of a silvers smith students want to utilise his university training to build bespoke items of Silver and Gold jewellery for the general public. The store grew and changed from its early beginnings as The Silver Studio to Frisson Jewellers and with the change became a turn in direction of the company towards branded watches.

1990 Frisson jewellers moved from there home down a side street of Morpeth to the man street to give them the market position to bring into the store more branded watches such as Zenith.

1998 saw a move from our home town to new premises and with that became the start of the branded watches and jewellery. With the starting of the franchise with Tissot watches.

2002 saw the 1st of our many branded fashion house watches with the starting of the franchise for D&G watches.

2003 the expansion of the brands with the likes of DKNY and Hugo Boss and CK watches.

2004 our second branch was opened too much acclaim with its boutique styling, and brands that the consumer could only find in the city centre in stuffing jewellery shops, such as Guess and brings some of the clothing brand watches such as Diesel as well.

2006 the fresh and new website opens Hotwatches to bring the Boutiques to the internet, to make shopping a joy on the internet.
